ACA agrees with AmCham Saudi Arabia. RBT is key for U.S. citizens and U.S. economic and strategic interests

ACA applauds AmCham Saudi Arabia's appeal to Congress to pass Residence-based taxation (RBT)  AmCham+Saudi+Arabia+Open+Letter.pdf .  In their letter to Congress AmCham Saudi Arabia cites the importance of U.S. citizens overseas for soft power and for key economic and strategic initiatives such as defense and security, energy and petrochemicals, infrastructure and construction, healthcare, education, technology, and financial services.  ACA's position paper published on February 4th aligns with AmCham Saudi Arabia's position on the importance of U.S. citizens overseas, Residence-based taxation (RBT) is a strategic investment in the U.S. economy, global interests, and American citizens - American Citizens Abroad.  ACA has long held that RBT is good policy, benefiting individual Americans while also benefiting U.S. economic and strategic interests. Opportunities are being lost for both U.S. businesses and U.S. citizens. The time to pass RBT legislation is now.  It's a win-win for everyone - citizens and the country.
