ACA Comments on Senate Finance Committee Discussion Draft of Taxpayer Assistance and Service Act

On February 13, 2025, ACA provided comments on the Senate Finance Committee Discussion Draft of the bipartisan Taxpayer Assistance and Service Act - a bill to Improve IRS Administration (Legislation would implement fixes to improve the taxpayer experience).

ACA's comments on the draft of the bipartisan Taxpayer Assistance and Service Act notes the improvements suggested in the bill to facilitate filing from overseas; however, ACA stresses that the ultimate corrective measure is Residence based taxation.
