ACA writes to House Veterans Affairs Committee in support of H.R. 439, the Veterans Foreign Medical Coverage Equality & Modernization Act of 2025, April 21, 2025

On April 21, 2025, ACA wrote to House Veterans Affairs Committee Chairman Bost and Ranking Member Takano in support of H.R. 439, the Veterans Foreign Medical Coverage Equality & Modernization Act of 2025.

"All veterans should receive equitable and comprehensive healthcare benefits, regardless of where they reside. Currently, the VA’s Foreign Medical Program (FMP) only provides coverage for service-connected conditions, leaving many disabled veterans residing abroad without the same level of healthcare as veterans living in the United States."
