ACA encourages the IRS to use ACA’s Comprehensive Compliance Program (CCP) as the basis for the IRS’s new streamlined compliancy program to be opened for those Americans who were not willful in their failure to file FBAR and report taxes. Commissioner Koskinen announced the new program in his speech at the International Business-OECD International Tax Conference on June 3rd. ACA wrote to the IRS Commissioner John Koskinen and Deputy Commissioner Michael Danilack suggesting that the IRS publish a draft version of the new IRS program and seek input from stakeholders prior to finalizing any program.
