Departure of National Taxpayer Advocate, Nina E. Olson

On July 31, 2019, Nina Olson retired from her position as National Taxpayer Advocate.  Click here to read her farewell message from her blog.  Ms. Olson has been instrumental in raising awareness of many of the tax compliance issues that US citizens living and working overseas face.  She has been an important voice of all taxpayers, advocating for the rights of taxpayers worldwide.  In her departure posting she updates us on her short list of recommendations.  ACA thanks Ms. Olson for her years of service to the taxpayer community and, in particular, to US citizens living and working overseas.  We wish her good luck in her new position as Executive Director of the Center for Taxpayer Rights.
