ACA's Latest Update on Residency-Based Taxation (RBT)

Work continues on Residency-based taxation (RBT). At today’s House floor session, Congressman Holding acknowledged the need for Residency-based taxation (RBT) for Americans living and working overseas. Now that corporate taxation is taking a territorial approach so must the policy for Americans overseas. Congressman Brady, Chairman of the House Ways & Means, responded to Congressman Holding’s comment acknowledging that the Committee will continue to work on RBT. See:
