ACA will be taking part in the Taxpayer Advocate Conference in Washington DC on May 17, 2016.
ACA is delighted to be taking part in the Taxpayer Advocate Conference in Washington DC on May 17th.
The Taxpayer Advocate Conference aims to listen to the needs of the different taxpayer communities and what the IRS needs to provide for better servicing. The IRS does not create tax policy, and this will not be a forum to discuss specific tax policy (CBT, RBT, etc). Rather, it's a platform to discuss filing procedures, outreach, data security, etc.
Marylouise Serrato, ACA Executive Director will be speaking at the conference, explaining what Americans living abroad need to make the filing process an easier experience.
