ACA's comments on the recent tax reform hearings and ACA's submitted comments on Residence-Based Taxation to the House of Ways & Means Committee Tax Writing Committee.

ACA has been at the table with Congress continuing to advocate for Residency-based Taxation (RBT). ACA recently attended hearings (April 2016) led by the House of Ways & Means Committee on Tax Reform. ACA's direct access to hearings and the Congress insures that representation of the interests of Americans living abroad are at the forefront. Based on the hearing discussions, ACA has submitted comments. ACA is the only organization that has provided the Tax Writing Committee with a full reform proposal for Residence-based Taxation.
