ACA wrote to the President and Administration highlighting how Residence-Based Taxation (RBT) is a win-win for individuals and for the United States' economic and strategic goals. Expanding exports and ensuring the United States maintains a foothold in strategically important geographic regions worldwide—for soft power, critical minerals, supply chains and more—can be achieved by reforming how U.S. citizens overseas are taxed, making them a force multiplier for U.S. interests. There is bicameral support for RBT legislation and Congress can easily make this a reality—again, a win-win for EVERYONE!
