ACA estimates 5-6 million US citizens living and working overseas are facing serious issues related to US legislation. Congressman LaHood has introduced Residence-based taxation (RBT) legislation into Congress. Time has come for the House Ways & Means Committee Chairman to call for hearings so that RBT legislation can be passed into law.

Congressman Smith, Chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee, needs to make hearings a priority for his Committee as there are an estimate 5 to 6 million US. citizens overseas that face a plethora of serious issues related to tax, investment and banking access. Congressman LaHood has introduced Residence-based taxation (RBT) legislation into Congress so now is the time for hearings!
